Patsy Marie (Daniels) Nissen passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming at age 78. Patsy was born in Rock Springs, WY on March 31, 1940 to John "Clyde" and Florence (Parenta) Daniels. She graduated high school in 1958 from Reliance, WY where she played the drums, piano, and clarinet in the band. She was also a swimmer and majorette. Patsy was voted the most talented and she went to girl's state. She was an accomplished dancer. She taught Fred Astaire (Ballroom) dancing, gave tango demonstrations, and belly dancing. She enjoyed bowling and about any craft you could imagine. Baking was also one of her pastimes. She was known for her suckers, divinity and rice crispy treats. She enjoyed going to bingo with family and friends. Patsy collected angels and bird feeders. Patsy married Paul A Nissen May 7, 1961 in Reliance, WY. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed and looked forward to the "Cousins Parties". Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her world. She is survived by her husband Paul A Nissen of Casper, WY. Daughters Laurie (Phil) Schnabel of Cheyenne, WY, Paula Nissen of Cheyenne, WY, Ruth (Phillip) Harnden of Glenrock, WY, and Misty (William) Shehan of Colorado Springs, CO, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Clyde Daniels, sisters Lolly Fisher and Audie O'Connell, and one grandson Miles. Celebration of life will be held Thursday November 8, 2018 at Bustards Funeral Home and Reception Center, 600 CY Ave Casper, WY 82602 from 2pm to 5pm.
