Patrick McDonald

Patrick Arthur Thomas McDonald passed on March 18, 2021 in Casper, WY after a very quick illness with brain cancer.

His love for Jesus and the Seventh-day Adventist church kept him filled with hope for a future. His hope was built on the text, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words (1Thessalonians 16-18}

Pat went to high school at Upper Columbia Academy and Southwestern Adventist Academy. He loved going to academy reunions and catching up with his friends and classmates, and is looking forward to our ultimate reunion.

Pat lived and worked in many states before he found his beloved “home” in Wyoming and settled down. He was a hard worker and loved being the ranger for Mills Spring Ranch, WY. He also drove semi-truck, delivered radiated medicines, and worked for his son, Tom. Pat’s world centered around his family, and his love for them and traveling took him to many grand places. He gave both his son and daughter their PhDs in auto mechanics, machines, camping, jeeps, and RVs.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, Theodore McDonald and his daughter, Brenda McDonald.

Pat is survived by his Mother, Edna Graham; his sister, Michaelan (David) Bowers; his wife, Rhonda McDonald; his son, Tom (Lyla) McDonald, and granddaughters Olivia Rose and Sophia Joy; and niece Kristina (Johnathan and their son Mika) Rouse, and nephew David (Dara) Bowers.

Services will be held at the Casper Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will go towards Olivia’s Christian Education
