Patricia Noonan

March 21, 1926 — November 21, 2018

Long time Casper resident Patricia Harriet Noonan, 92, died Wednesday November 21, 2018, in Douglas, Wyoming. She was born in Yankton, South Dakota as the oldest child of V.P. "Pat" Noonan and Irma Rafferty. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming in the early 1930s. She was educated at Saint Anthony's Parochial School and graduated from Natrona County High School with the class of 1944. She attended The University of Wyoming for a year. She gained employment at the Socony Vacuum Refinery and was employed for ten years. In 1953 she was appointed to the staff of Lester C. Hunt in Washington D.C. She held that position untit the Senators untimely death. She returned to casper, Wyoming and was employed by various oil and gas companies. She retired in 1989. She was a very devoted Roman Catholic and attended daily mass at St. Patrick's Catholic church as well as many hours at adoration. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. Although not having children of her own she was instrumental in the raising other family members to be the successful adults they are today. She was preceded in death by her parents, two nieces, one nephew and one great nephew and several cousins. She is survived by her siblings, Dennis V. (Bettie Lou) Noonan of Fort Collins, Colorado, Ellen (Dewey) Gerdom of San Marcos, Texas and Thomas J. (Eileen) Noonan of Casper, Wyoming and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Patty " Bear" will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial mass and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Casper, Wyoming
