Patricia Dailey

Memorial services for Mrs. Patricia Yvonne Madden Montoya Dailey of Casper, WY will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Burnett officiating. Mrs. Dailey, 64, passed away May 5, 2014 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming following a lengthy illness. She was born November 15, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio. She attended school in Akron Ohio. Her parents moved from Ohio to Wyoming in 1967. She also attend local high school and Casper College. She was married to Louis V. Montoya, Sr. in Casper, November, 1968. They later divorced in June of 1972. She and Louis has two daughters, Tricia and Kimberly. She was employed with the government office USGS when she met Michael Dailey. She married Michael Dailey in Casper, July, 1982, they divorced in 1989. With Michael her family grew to include Ryan, Lindsey, Kalah, and Thomas. In 1984, Both Michael and Patricia were transferred to Lakewood, Co. Patricia remain in Colorado until 2001. At that time, she moved back to Casper to spend time with her older daughters and their families. She worked at several retail and grocery stores during her time in Casper. She was able to meet a variety of people and was also happy to greet them. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening, entertaining, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed politics and current events. Family was very important to Patricia. She was very close to her younger sister Dianna. They had many fun adventures together. Her daughter, Kimberly, was also very close to heart. Patricia's greatest strength was making sure that everyone was taken care of. Even in her final hours, she worried more about her children than she did herself. She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Miller, her husband Wade and her children, Chase, Cole and Avery, all of Casper, daughter, Kimberly Montoya, her children, Joshua, Andrew and Shawn, all of Casper, son, Ryan Dailey of Denver, Daughter, Lindsey Recknor, her husband, Steve and her children Dillon, Jaxson, her daughter Kalah Dailey and her husband, Jaymes and her children, Emery and Jayla, all of Denver, her son, Thomas Dailey of Denver, and her sister, Dianne McKay of Pendleton, OR. She is also survived by her mother, Lorraine Madden of Casper and her brother, James Madden of Pueblo, CO. She was preceded in death by her father, James T. Madden, sister, Masha Madden, grandmother, Martha Bond Shipe, and grandfather, Earl Shipe.
