With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Patricia Anne Jackson-Harris-Bauerlein, 65, of Casper, Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2023. She passed away at home.

Patty was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Dorothy Lee Jackson and William Arnold Jackson on April 25, 1957. She graduated from Wasson High School in 1975 and obtained her associate’s degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver graduating Summa Cum Laude. Patty held numerous positions throughout her life. She worked as a rehabilitation counselor, a book keeper, restaurant manager, and warehouse worker. She also worked in construction. She was passionate about writing and had one of her poems published in A Tapestry of Thoughts in 1996 by The National Library of Poetry.

Patty loved her family and friends with a fierce and unconditional love.  She was everybody’s best friend and cheerleader and had a sweet and tender spirit. She always knew how to make a person feel known and accepted. She will be dearly missed.

Patty is survived by her mother, Dorothy Sharp of Casper, Wyoming, brothers Fred Jackson (Lisa) of Woodland, Washington, Gary Jackson (Julie) of Newberg, Oregon, sister DeeDee Hartford (Brent) of Casper, Wyoming, great niece Tailynne Apel and great, great nephew Ezrah Jones of Casper, Wyoming whom she was helping raise, nieces Katie Jackson-Roberts of Tigard, Oregon and Taylor Hartford of Seattle, Washington, nephews Daniel Jackson (Brandy) of Woodland, Washington, James Apel (Misty), Brian Apel (Melissa) of Casper, Wyoming, Joshua Jackson (Kassia), Matthew Jackson (Felicia), Caleb Jackson, of Newberg, Oregon, Austin Hartford of Longmont, Colorado, 13 great nieces, 2 great nephews, Uncle Steve Galusha and numerous cousins in Colorado. She is preceded in death by her stillborn daughter, Sarah Jackson, her father, William A Jackson, step-father, Robert A Sharp, and sister, Dodie Jackson-Apel, her aunt, Anne Marie Galusha and maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Bustards and Jacoby (600 CY AVE, Casper WY) on Easter Sunday,  April 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM with brother-in-law Brent Hartford officiating. A Reception will follow in the reception hall. Bustards and Jacoby will be handling the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer either plants or a Memorial Donation made to Dorothy Sharp, via Bustards and Jacoby 600 CY AVE, Casper WY. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Encompass Health Hospice and Central Wyoming Senior Services.
