Osborn Patterson

Osborn Frank Patterson, 83, passed away on October 9, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. Osborn Frank Patterson, born January 20, 1935 in Omaha , Nebraska to Frank & Ina (Lemon) Patterson. Shortly after, moving to Montana. Oz attended a country school outside Red Lodge, Mt. Then later moving to Powell, Wyo. Graduated 1955. Played football while in school.Shortly after graduation, enlisted in the U S Navy traveling to the Far East. Upon getting honorable discharge, returned to Powell Wyo. For a short while. Several jobs took him to different states working with oil rigs. In 1959, decided to go to Nebraska Vocational Technical School in Milford, Nebraska to seek an electrical career. Summer of 1960, met his future wife (Barbara Fulton) got engaged In December 1960 got married. Graduating in 1961 got a job in Lusk Wyo. as a lineman. Then applied for a job with Mountain Bell Telephone which began a career from Feb. 1962 - Feb. 1990. Upon retiring, found many jobs in maintenance with the last one with Casper Orthopedics. Here met many great friends (including the Doctors) He enjoyed working here as many challenging situations come up. Tried pleasing who worked there when a special needed item either to build or repair. In Oct. 1964, Charles was born, in 1966 Kimberlee arrived. This made our family complete. Thru the years, took trips which were enjoyable. In 1979, Osborn gave his heart to Jesus knowing he was on his way to Heaven upon the Lord deciding to take him home. He would attest to this. Osborn was a very compassionate, loving man. Loved family, as well as many friends. Osborn was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church in Casper, Wyo. Loved the church and fellow members. Leaving behind, Barbara (wife), Charles (son), Kimberlee (daughter),our Texas sibm 2 granddaughters ,1 grandson, 1 great granddaughter, a sister Jeanette Hardin and brother-in law Keith Sand, along with several nieces & nephews. The family appreciates all the visits, love shared, which Oz shared this with many of you. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Grace Bible Baptist Church in Casper with Pastor Steve Adams officiating.
