Oltha Towner

Oltha Benjamin "Holten" Towner died March 10, 2011 at Wyoming Medical Center after a courageous fight with health problems. He was born April 27, 1950 in Newton, Mississippi to Mirtha James and Mildred Towner. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1952 where he stayed for 58 years. He attended and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. Soon after, Holten was drafted in the United States Army where he served three years in the 101st Airborne Division. He was honorably discharged. Upon departure, he became a proud father to a baby boy. Holten enjoyed friends, family and living life. He will be surely missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sisters, brothers, son and many nieces and nephews who will keep his memory alive. Funeral arrangements are pending.
