Mass of Christian Burial for Olive J. Fake, 95, will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2011at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church by Fr. Robert Fox. Rite of Committal will be conducted at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery, Evansville, Wyoming. Olive J. Fake passed away in her sleep on March 16 at her home in Port Charlotte, FL. Olive was born Dec. 8, 1915 in Old Mission, Michigan to Frank and Elisabeth (Holmes) Hudson. Olive grew up on a ranch along the Missouri River near Glasgow, MT and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1933. Trained as a secretary, she worked for an attorney prior to her marriage to Clarence Fake and their subsequent move to Casper, Wyoming. They raised their children Dianne and Tom Fake in Casper. Olive worked as a secretary in the oil business in Casper for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by Clarence, her husband of 64 years. She moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 2009 to be near her daughter Dianne. Olive is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Ken) Kidneigh of Port Charlotte, FLand her son Dr. Thomas (Idamae) Fake of Denison, IA and seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
