Stormin' Norman Fishin' Musician Drummer Plumber AKA 'PAPA FISH' Norm made his great appearance, into this world on December, 25th 1957. His parents Robert L. Moore, and Ellen C. Eggers, spoiled Christmas day for brothers Robert Moore and Kenneth Moore that year. Vern Moore was later added to the family, becoming the last born. We probably shouldn't speculate, on the lack of girls in the house. However during his battle with brain cancer, he never had a shortage of girls around, especially nurses. From placing bets to pay hospital bills, to pink Floyd in the operating room, Norm made an impression at Wyoming Medical Center, and Rocky Mountain Oncology. Norm lost his battle to brain cancer on September 14th, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. Join us in Shoshoni WY on September 21st, at 1:00pm in the high school gymnasium. Reception to follow, at the Shoshoni Senior Citizen Center. Please come to share wonderful memories, and give thanks that he was a part of our lives, with those cheesy jokes. For Bob and Ellen raising 4 boys couldn't have been the easiest task, for the young couple in love. In Meeteetse WY they lived in a ranch in a home, which their father built. Later the Moore family moved to Casper WY, where Norman worked at the Wagon Wheel Skating Rink. For years Norman?s children Shawn Moore, Jessica Bedsaul, and Christine Kaczorowski, had to listen of his awesome skating skills. It is unknown, if these skills were ever proven. In these earlier years, Norman learned to play the drums, annoying the entire family. Self-taught the man became a musical genius. Throughout his drumming career he was in a number of different bands. The first band he was in was named after him, 'Bear Foot Band'. He always played the drums without shoes on. After moving to Shoshoni W Y, he became the drummer for the 'Happy Fantanstics' and the 'Lost Springs Band'. Lost Springs Band was the final band he performed for. Jessica has made claims to getting some of his musical talent, which has yet to be confirmed. He made numerous lifelong friends. Something about his personality, kept everyone around. We were trying to pinpoint this something; however we were never able to so. This personality is an endangered species, and until more are found we can no longer do research. We believe this will become one of the unknown mysteries of the world. His plumbing career was an extensive one, where he had to deal with a lot of 'crap'. He was a man who could take a leak, and fix one also. His final job was for the Town of Shoshoni. For over 20 years he was known as Shoshoni's 'town plumber'. He passed on many of his plumbing skills, along with his receding hair line. Just ask his son, Shawn Moore. He was also known for many other skills. He was a custom rod builder, and spent an extraordinary amount of time on them. His extreme wraps, then later his hand crafted wooden handles, was the personal touch he gave every rod. He passed on his rod building skills to his daughter, Christine Kaczorowski, along with a generous portion of his personality. His favorite past time was fishing, where he was able to use some of his creations. He would take everyone fishing, that showed an interest. Papa Fish had 10 grandchildren; each and every one of them adored him. He took them fishing, amongst many other things. He always had a sparkle when they came to see him play in the band. He loved to joke, and although some of his jokes weren't the funniest, the kids would humor him and laugh anyways. He let them play in his studio, and make some noise. Let?s face it, we all wish he had more time with us; those kids haven?t mastered any instrument yet. They say the difference between a fish and a musician is you can't tuna fish. He tried some luck with ranching, his skills proved useful to herd Chihuahuas. Anyone who knew him knows those puppies were his world. He drove them all over the place, and everyone got a good laugh out of it. Hard to believe a long-haired man would have 5 Chihuahuas, but you better believe it, we all saw it with our own eyes. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L Moore, and his brother Robert Moore. He is survived by his mother Ellen, brothers Kenneth, and Vern, 3 children Shawn, Jessica, and Christine, 10 grandchildren Samantha, Savanah, Brandtly, Bryce Bedsaul, Shandy, Riley, Dacey Moore, Kyler, Landin, and Braeley Kaczorowski. He Impacted lots of lives, and will Forever Fish in the Big Blue Sky. Early to bed, early to rise, fish all day, tell big lies. A reel expert he could tackle anything.
