Nancy Bond

Our beloved family Matriarch was called home to be with our Lord after a brief illness at the age of 75, on Wednesday February 11, 2015 in Casa Grande, Arizona. She was born May 5, 1939 in Fairplay, Colorado. She met her soul mate Walt Bond in High School in Sundance, Wyoming. They married on December 24, 1955 in Sundance. Nancy retired from the Employment Security Commission in Casper in 1993. She was actively involved with the Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Good Sam RV Club. She loved to read, travel and crochet. In her early years she enjoyed hunting and was a pistol marksman winning several awards and trophies. Nancy is survived by her husband Walt Bond of Casper, oldest son Howard Bond (Nancy) of Evansville, twins Denise St. John (Dan) of Casper and Dennis Bond of Mills, youngest son Dane Bond (Darlene) of Lyons Oregon. Sister Sherry Bisgaard (Carl) of Bailey Colorado, sister in-law Fran Bland (Harvey) of Elko Nevada, sister in-law Carol Andrisen (Jim) of Millington Illinois, and brother in-law Carl Bond (Brenda) of Elko Nevada. She is also survived by 10 Grand Children, 20 Great Grand Children and many Nieces and Nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her infant son Anthony Walter Bond, infant Great Grandson Jonathon Schriner, Father Howard Robinson, Mother Ruth Means Robinson and Step Mother Josephine Robinson. Viewing will be on Thursday February 19, 2015 at Bustards Funeral Home, West Chapel from 12 to 8 PM and on Friday February 20th from 8 to 11 AM. Services to be held at 1 PM on February 20, 2015 at St. Marks Episcopal Church, Father Phillip officiating. Interment to follow at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Reception to follow interment at Casper Shrine Club. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shrine Travel Fund, PO Box 2222, Casper WY 82602.
