A visitation is scheduled for Myron Edward Bryant at Bustard's Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Myron Edward Bryant, 82, passed away February 3, 2013 following a short illness. He was born in Iola, Kansas, the second child of Harold and Jeanne (Michaels) Bryant on August 31, 1930. After graduating school, he went to the service. However, he did not serve overseas. He married Laurine Jurjens on August 14, 1954. They brought two children into the world, Dennis and Teresa. Myron was a talented man. He was a fireman for several years, sold real estate in the Casper area during the 60's and 70's. He also loved to remodel and build houses. He invested in a semi with a belly dump and front end loader so that he could dig foundations and haul away the dirt. He was in this business for 40 years. He married Connie on December 31, 1989. They continued the excavation and road construction business as they built their own log house. He became a Mason in 1995 and a Shriner in 1996. He drove a model T for a couple of years. Then he found a true calling where he decided to become a member of the Calliope Unit (clowns). He was a ventriloquist and Scotty was his buddy. Myron's clown name was Harley Worthit. He enjoyed the parades and having Scotty talk to the crowds. Another love of Myron's life were his Dobermans, Chelé, Charlie and Sheri. Myron enjoyed his 9 acre ranchette, tractors, collector cars and most of all, his tools. He enjoyed traveling to ghost towns, Yuma and all of the southwest. He even was a fast draw in his younger years. Myron was also a pilot for a short time and always wanted to get started again. He was able to have his last flight as he became a tissue donor. Myron is survived by Connie, his wife of 23 years, his son Dennis (Cindy), his daughter, Teresa (Brion) Peterson, his brother Marvin (Mildred), sisters, Carol Summers, Judy Geiger, all of Casper and Barbara (Herb) Quincey of Granite Falls, Washington, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren
