Myrle Dixon

Myrle Marlis Dixon passed away peacefully on January 28, 2015. She was born on March 10, 1929 to Louis and Rose Paulsen in Wadena, Minnesota. She was the youngest of 10 children. She graduated from High School in Wadena Minnesota and received her associates degree at St. Cloud Teachers college in 1950. She moved to Rawlins, Wyoming where she taught elementary school and met her future husband, whom she married in 1954. Pj and Myrle Dixon made their home in Casper, where they raised their four children. She looked forward to her bridge parties with her friends and loved games of chance and playing the panies. She was her grandson's biggest sports fan and was a major part of their lives. Myrle is preceded in death by her parents, husband Pj and 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by one sister, Alice Vane, her children Shannon Dixon, Scott Dixon (Tonya), Nancy Gasnell and Diane Wagar (Mark) and her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31st at 2 O'clock in the afternoon.
