Milford Elijah Clark 96, passed away at home, February 14, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pratt, Kansas, March 27, 1922 to Floyd Garst and Mary Smith Clark. He was the middle child of nine. He graduated high school in Pratt and married the love of his life Patricia Marie Walker, June 16, 1941. As a World War II veteran he proudly served his country from 1942 through 1945 in the Army Air Corps, Flying Tigers, 21st photo reconnaissance squadron, in the India Theater Operation Burma/China, flying over the hump several times. After returning to civilian life Milford began his career as an electrician moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming working for Cheyenne Light Fuel and Power, from 1950 until his retirement in 1986. He and Pat raised a family of four children Janet, Linda, Kerry and Kristin in Cheyenne. He moved to Casper in 2010 to be near family. Milford was hard-working, fun loving, and lived life to the fullest. He loved with a big heart and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving dad attending countless track meets, taking his family hunting, fishing and camping. He was a Boy Scout leader and the Commander of VFW Post 1881 in Cheyenne WY. He would take off work and drop whatever he was doing to help and stand by his family. He was member of First Christian church Cheyenne. He was very artistic, always creating. He made beautiful works of needlepoint pictures, drawing his own design. He also carved and painted dozens of Native American Kachina dolls and created his own bolo ties and made walking sticks of all shapes and designs. He is preceded in death by his beloved Patricia, daughter Kristin and three grandsons Gary Riner, John Riner and great grandson Tyler Heiliger. He is survived by his daughters Janet (Gary) Riner, Linda (Don) Bright, son Kerry(Glo) Clark, grandchildren William (Robin) Riner, Jamie (Jeff )Lindley, Wes (Sheila) Bright, Kenzie( Eric) Mares, Quinn (Kayleigh )Clark, Tamra Jones, Tanna (Mike)Jacobson , Sye( Britney) Jones,16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren
