Michelle Marie Trottier died suddenly on May 6, 2015 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. Michelle was born November 9, 1966 in Laramie, Wyoming to Gerald Trottier and Brenda (Emerick)Trottier. She attended school in Glenrock and graduated from Glenrock High School in 1985. After attending medical-related classes and courses, she worked most of her career in several medical offices as a receptionist and medical office assistant. Within this position, she truly excelled and always expressed genuine compassion while working with patients, especially children, and their families. As a very creative and talented individual, Michelle enjoyed sewing, crafting, writing poetry, cooking, baking and decorating cakes. She treasured her photographs and sharing stories about them. She always thought of others first and took joy in giving tokens of kindness. She loved her family deeply and especially enjoyed spending time with and sharing stories about her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana and took great pride in her heritage. Michelle was an extremely kind-hearted person with a generous soul. She will be forever missed by family and friends. She is survived by her father, Gerald; mother Brenda, both of Glenrock; brothers Darrin Trottier of Wright; Shawn Trottier(Sarah) of Casper; sisters Amy Young (Ron) of Glenrock; and Jennifer Trottier of Loveland, Colorado; and uncle Jerry Emerick of Martin, South Dakota. Michelle is also survived by her nieces and nephews Tara Trottier, Shelby Trottier, Tyler Young, Breanna Young, Taylor Trottier, Shane Trottier, Jered Potter, Gabe Potter, and Noah Potter; as well as her loving aunts and uncles, Bucky and Dede Wirtzberger, Dolly Bellefeuille, George and Shirley Eklund and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents whom she adored, Bernard and Marie Emerick. A Funeral Mass will be held May 13 at 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock. Interment will follow at Glenrock Cemetery.
