Michael Youree

Micheal A. Youree, 52, passed away suddenly in the early morning of May 8, 2018. Mike was born November 16, 1965 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital, Casper, WY to Dorothy and Lee Youree, the youngest of three children. Mike attended schools in Casper. Mike had been employed at the Mountain View Conoco on Yellowstone Hwy where he truly loved his job, coworkers, and customers. Mike enjoyed playing cards and going out to coffee with friends. Mike married Karen Williams. They later divorced, but remained very close friends. Mike would say, "It's complicated." Mike was a huge, loyal fan of Dallas Cowboys football and also Colorado Rockies baseball. But most of all his love for his border collie, Nana, was endless. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Lee R. Youree; grandparents, Forest and Lora Youree; grandmother, Ella Diemer; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Mike is survived by his mother, Dorothy Youree; brother, Jerry (Laura) Youree; sister, Cindy (Gary) Pollard; nieces, Nicole (DJ) Lawyer and Pam Statton; nephews, Eric Pollard and Scott Statton; and aunt, Rosemary Statton. Also, so many cousins and friends, the list is long but they are not forgotten. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home, 600 CY Avenue in Casper. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where Mike will be laid to rest close to his father. Mike wished to be a donor. His death will benefit many with his gifts, which may be one of the best contributions of one's life after their passing. In lieu of flowers, donations to Make a Wish Foundation in Mike's name would be appreciated.
