Michael Turner

Michael Turner, 61 passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at his home in Casper, WY. Michael Was born on December 28, 1956 at a home in Natrona County. He was abandoned shortly after birth at a hospital and only known as "Baby Boy Turner". He received the name Michael while at the Wyoming State Training School in Lander, Wyoming where he was raised from sixteen months of age. Although he was born with disabilities and had a rough start at life, Mike wanted to live in a community setting and transitioned to NOWCAP Services in Casper in 1991. NOWCAP gave Mike the family he never had. He had the biggest smile, loved spending time with his staff and friends. He enjoyed outings, listening to music, drawing, McDonalds hamburgers, drinking pop and spending time with his girlfriend. He was a joy to be around. Mike is survived by his Guardians Danelle Ross of Kimberly, ID and Bob Ross of Pocatello, ID, staff and friends. Michael's Celebration of Life will be held Monday June 4 at 11 am at Nowcap Services located at 345 N Walsh Dr. Though we will miss his contagious smile, we are thankful he is no longer hurting and now in Heaven with his Saviour.
