Michael "Mikey" Kolb

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael “Mikey” Kolb, age 59, of Mills, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.  He was born on January 1, 1963, in Salt Lake City to Dan and Connie Kolb.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Marguerite O’Reilly and Jewell and Muriel Kolb; uncle, Michael H, Kolb; and a niece, Amber Kolb.

Survivors include his parents, Dan and Connie Kolb; his siblings, Dani (Tom) Wiblemo, Scott Kolb (Barb), Philip (Dawn) Kolb, and Jacki (Tom) Henderson; several nieces and nephews. Mikey is also survived by his loving family, Susan Lashuay, Amber (Justin) Nitcy, Timothy (Asia) Hyneman; 11 grandchildren; and his cool cat, Wobbles.

Mikey was an avid Denver Broncos fan; loved Star Wars and James Bond, but his passion was all about his grandchildren. No matter what life threw him, he held fast without defeat. Mike loved big; was larger than life and lived accordingly. We are forever grateful for the gift of his life.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
