Michael Kettle

A celebration of life for Michael R. Kettle will be held at the VFW Post 10969, 4570 W. Yellowstone Hwy. in Mills, WY on January 7, 2011 at 6 pm. Michael R. Kettle entered into rest on January 3, 2011 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Beacon, New York on January 19, 1962. He graduated in 1981 from John Jay High School inHopewell Junction, New York. He moved to Wyoming in 1991and worked for the Natrona County School District until he decided to obtain his CDL. He married his wife Terry in 1998 and they went over the road trucking with Werner Enterprises. In 2000 he and Terry moved to Vero Beach, Florida and became a citrus hauler for Oakley Groves at Fort Pierce, Florida. After the hurricanes of 2004 they relocated back to Casper, where he became an instructor at Sage Technical Services. Mike was a musician and drummed for the Grease Monkeys Band. He was a founding member of the Out Spoken Motorcycle Club in New York and partied with the Hells Angels. He enjoyed riding and polishing his motorcycle. He had a love for hotrods and anything with an engine. He also truly loved his wife Terry and enjoyed going on trips not only across the country, but even to the grocery store. Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, Orville A. Kettle and Dolores M. Kettle, and brother Kenneth A. Thomas of New York. He is survived by wife, Terry Kettle of Casper, step-children, Anthony of California and Brittany of Casper, brothers, Joseph, David, and Paul, sisters, Vernice and Shirley, grandson, AJ of Casper and many niecesand nephews. In lieu of flowers send contributions in Michael's memory to Central Wyoming Hospice or the Casper Humane Society. Cremation has been held.
