Michael Barry Fitzgerald passed away on April 23, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice Center with loved ones by his side. Michael Barry Fitzgerald was born on June 13, 1947 in Casper, Wyoming to Dr. R.P. "Dick" and Eloyde Fitzgerald. He was the third of five children. Barry was educated in Casper and graduated from NCHS in 1965. He later went back to school and received his degree in Respiratory Therapy, working for the Wyoming Medical Center for many years. With a true Wyoming heart, and a love for playing his drums and rock and roll music, Barry was in numerous bands here in Wyoming throughout his life. He played in the Novells, Canterbury Glass Shop, Toby, Badger Street, Wood Station, and Blue Marble Project just to name a few. His other passions were his soulmate of 20 years, Anita, NASCAR, and his Hot Rods, most recently owning a 1932 purple Ford Coupe. Barry is survived by the love of his life Anita, whom he married on November 25, 2005. He is also survived by stepson, Jesse Martin and wife Desiree, and their children, Autumn and Paige; sister-in-law, Sandy Wright; brother, Jack Fitzgerald; sister, Sheila Rulli (and the late Joe Rulli); Patsy O'Hearn and husband Mike; brother-in-law, Frank Tanner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mimi Tanner. Services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10:00 am. The family asks that you please dress colorfully to celebrate Barry's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, the 12-24 Club, or charity of the donor's choice.
