Melvin Palmer

Services for Melvin (Mel) D. Palmer will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Casper Four Square Church, 1400 So. Forest Drive. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 the church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Mr. Palmer, 69, passed away April 11, 2012 in Thermopolis, Wyoming. He was born September 10, 1942 in Casper, Wyoming, the son of Earl G. and Thelma M. (Bates) Palmer. He graduated from Midwest High School in 1961. Mr. Palmer married Donna Thienpont in 1962. They later divorced. He then married Jeanette Allen in 1989. He worked in the oilfields of Wyoming all of his life. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing and arrowhead hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and two grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette and four sons, Dawayne (Yvonne), Rich (Daphne), Melvin (Tammi) and Tracy (Barbara), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild and four brothers, Dale, Don, Larry and Gary. The family would appreciate either flowers or memorials. These may be sent to the Casper Four Square Church.
