Maxine Campbell

Funeral services for Casper resident Maxine Campbell 67, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18th at Bustard's Funeral Home by Pastor McGrew of the Christ United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. She passed away June 13, 2013 in her home after a long courageous battle with COPD. Born Sept. 28, 1945 in Casper WY. She was the youngest daughter of Bill and Millie Morton. She was raised and educated in Casper. She graduated from NCHS in 1963. She met her husband, Robert Kenny Campbell, in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and they were married Jan. 12, 1974. Throughout her life she worked several different jobs, eventually working for Wal-Mart and retiring as Electronics Department Manager after 20+ years of service. She loved collecting Campbell Kids, Morton Salt, and Denver Broncos memorabilia and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Other things she enjoyed were taking cruises, fishing, camping and hunting with family and friends. Survivors include; her two sons, Wayne (Jeannette) Knudsen of Gillette, WY and Tim (Barb) Knudsen of Stansbury Park, UT. Two grandsons, Bryce Knudsen and Tanner Knudsen of Gillette WY. Two brothers, Gene Morton of Casper and Jay (Betty) Morton of Casper. One sister, Sharon Mathis of Casper and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenny; brothers Bill and John and sisters Donna Marvel and Rosanne Rogers. The family would appreciate flowers or memorials to the charity of your choice.
