Mary Sjostrom

Mary Jane (Keith) Sjostrom, age 55, of Casper, WY passed away September 9, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice after a more than two year battle with brain cancer. Mary Jane was born December 26, 1960 in Casper to Roland and Trudy (Bickford) Keith. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1979 and married Eddie Sjostrom September 13, 1980. The couple raised two children, Ryelan and Felicity. The couple later divorced. She worked in sales at Bon Marche and then Walmart. Mary Jane was active supporter of B.A.C.A., the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the Toys for Tots Run. She loved baking, bowling, participating in charity motorcycle runs, a good puzzle, and just taking care of others. Mary Jane also loved collecting anything koala. Mary Jane will be greatly missed by her daughter, Felicity Sjostrom, of Gillette, WY; son, Ryelan Sjostrom, of Casper, WY; brothers, Tim McCoy, of Jackson, WY, and Malcom McCoy, of Boulder, CO; sister, Elaine McCoy-Walford, of Boulder, CO; 8 grandchildren, Kiana, Alexis, D'Von, Neela, Nate, Gabe, Kadyn, and Trevor; as well as 7 nieces and nephews, Melissa, Jeff, Heather, Scott, Mikaela, Shelby, & Travis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Trudy (Bickford) Keith, of Casper, WY, and her niece, Mileah McCoy, of Santa Barbara, CA. A celebration of Mary Jane's life and reception will be held at the Casper Senior Center Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 2-4PM. Memorial contributions in Mary Jane's name may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
