Kathy Wise - Sims was born in Great Bend, Kansas and died in Casper, Wyoming of natural causes at the age of 77. Kathy is survived by her step-daughter Sherry Renee' Gibbons and her husband David Gibbons and son Timothy Dodson Wise and wife Darlene Gothard and Tim's stepson Lee Larson and daughter in law Marcia Wise and ex-daughter in law, Rita Suddarth. Kathy is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad Gibbons and family, Jeffrey Wise and family, Amada Wise and family, Austin Wise and family, and Gretchen Wise - Gill and family, Kerri Wise - Woods and husband Jerry and their two daughters and grandson Andy Wise. Additionally she is survived by many nieces and nephews of the Wise, Meek and Sims families. I would be remiss if I did not mention she was survived by her two dogs, Missy and Minnie and her two cats Topaz and Cleo. Kathy was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Dotson Wise, stepsons Randy Carl Wise and Clinton Henderson Wise, daughters[SG1] Carolyn Kay Wise and Carla Denise Wise and grandson Joshua Cody Whitworth and her brothers, Leroy and Eddie Meek. Additionally she had a special bonus family of Calvin and Shirley Trapp and their daughters Carol, Candi and Dee Ann. Another special friend was Norma Sims and many more. Kathy lived a full and exciting life. She traveled the United States with both her first and second husbands. She also lived with Carl in Saudi Arabia and enjoyed seeing the world. She moved to Wyoming with her second husband and it became her adopted state. Kathy was a wonderful wife and good mother to all of her children. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Kathy wished that her health in recent years would have allowed her to visit her family more often but it was not meant to be but she did thoroughly enjoy the family members that were able to visit her. She prayed for each and every one of her family members daily. Kathy had a strong faith and I have no doubt she is now celebrating her next life with her lord and her family. Services for Kathy will be given at a later date. It was Kathy's wish to be taken back to Texas upon her death and her ashes will be with her daughter Carla and her grandson Josh and placed with her mom Jo Sudberry in Houston, TX. As you say goodbye to Kathy remember these words: Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff thy comfort me.
