Mary M. Shofstall

Mary Marguerite (Schulz) Shofstall – 76 of Medicine Bow, Wyoming passed away at Wyoming Medical Center on August 25, 2022, surrounded by her family in Casper, Wyoming.  Mary was born in Lovell, Wyoming to Charles W. Schulz and Marguerite Eis.  She graduated from NCHS High School in Casper, Wyoming.  Mary was a loving housewife for the last 45 years.  She loved to go camping and fishing, RV’ing and being a camp host.  She also loved to do needle work and metal detecting.  She never knew a stranger.  Mary is survived by her husband Duane A. Shofstall of Medicine Bow.  Four daughters, Twani and her husband Tim Norton of Doniphan, Missouri, Julie and her husband Charlie Blanchard of Rogue River, Oregon, Kelli Shofstall of Austin, Texas, and Lynn Griffin of Casper, Wyoming.  Also, a brother Boardman Schulz of Casper, Wyoming, 9 nephews, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild due in December.  She is also survived by two very close lifelong friends, Bea Sugdon of Belleview, Washington, and Ann Baker of Christmas Valley, Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marguerite Schulz of Casper, Wyoming, a sister Charlotte Brown of Casper, Wyoming, a brother Edwin Schulz of Casper, Wyoming.  Mary will be missed by many, she took a piece of our hearts when she had to go, and as per her wishes she was cremated, and there will be no services.  Instead of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mary’s memory
