Mary Jewel Rodrick was born February 7, 1925 to Viola (Wright) and William McKenzie in Casper, WY. She is a true native of Casper. Receiving her education in Casper, she graduated from Natrona County High School in 1943. Upon graduation she went to work for Mountain Bell Telephone Company. She then worked at the Air Base until it closed, transferring to the local telephone office. In 1958, she went to work at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Medical Records. She retired from the hospital in 1983 and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Nelson Frissell. On June 21, 1946 she married Edmund Rodrick. They had six children, 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, whom were the joy of her life. She is survived by two sons, Victor (Debi), Rodney (Janice); two daughters, Janeen (Steve) Griswold, Elizabeth (Craig) Schroeder; and daughter-in-law, Wanda (Mrs. Danny Rodrick). She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund; her parents; two sons, Paul and Danny; two sisters, Alice Welch and Helen Shaw; and one brother, Kenneth McKenzie. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
