Mary Hinerman

Memorial services for Mary Hinerman will be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will be at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery alongside her husband. Mary died Saturday October 20, 2012 at Poplar Living Center after a brief illness. She was born December 2, 1923 in Gutherie Center Iowa, daughter of Clyde H. and Lena Lee Covault. The family moved to Casper in 1934 where Mary attended Jefferson Grade school and Natrona County High School. In 1939 the family moved to Ft. Collins where she graduated high school in 1942. In 1944 Mary and her family moved back to Casper where she worked for Salt Creek Freightways, then later for Wyo. National Bank. In early 1946 she met Ward Hinerman, and they were married August 11, 1946, at the home of her parents. In addition to raising their three children in 1963 she went to work for Kassis Department Store and retired in 1984. Over the years she has had many hobbies including ceramics, needle point, china painting, crocheting, hooking rugs, and growing African violets. In 1995 she started crocheting dresses for craft dolls, and donated them to Seaton House forChristmas. She also crocheted "lap robes" for the guests of several local nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her husband Ward, her brother Richard Covault and sister Harriett Duke. She is survived by her 3 children, son Richard Hinerman, daughter Patricia Rosene and son Edward Hinerman. 4 grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren.
