Mary Gallinger

Mary Anne Gallinger, 76 passed away peacefully at home February 29, 2016 after a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer. Mary Anne was born to William and Ann Robertson in Lander, Wyoming. She graduated from Lander Valley High School. She met and married the love of her life Carl E. Gallinger in 1959. Her husband's profession in the bakery business brought a move to Riverton, Wyoming and finally to Casper, Wyoming in 1969. Their marriage was blessed with four children whom she cherished. Mary Anne worked as the Office Manager at Westwood Elementary School for over 20 years. She loved children and found great joy in assisting them and the staff. Mary Anne was very active with St. Anthony Catholic Church. She loved to garden, walk, read, sew, travel with her husband and most of all spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Gallinger and her brother Bob Robertson. She is survived by her children Fr. Carl Gallinger, Cheyenne, Scott (Kyler) Gallinger, Casper, Greg (Karen Mills) Gallinger, Casper, Michelle (Lisa Taylor) Gallinger, Portland, OR, granddaughter Farren Thompson, grandson, Andrew Gallinger, brother Allan (Betty) Robertson and sister Sue (Alan) Gray. Mary Anne's funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Anthony Tri-Parish Catholic School, Casper, Wyoming.
