Mary Annette Brown, 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Christmas morning, December 25th 2017. She was born on October 28th 1958 to Mary Lou and David Jean Fountain in San Angelo Texas. Shortly after, the family moved to Washington state where she had some of her fondest memories including growing up with her sister and brother, Debbie and Randy, which were her childhood best friends. Being a military family, they moved often, but finally settled in Cheyenne Wyoming where she met her lifelong best friend Joyce. She attended Buffalo Ridge elementary school, Carey Junior High, and Laramie County Community College. Annette had four children whom she loved dearly; Michelle, Les, Amy, and Rodney. Annette enjoyed, more than anything, spending time with her family. She loved baking and making Christmas goodies with the family during the holidays, spending time playing Legos and board games with her grandkids, talking on the phone gossiping for hours with her kids and sister, and listening to music videos with and watching Rodney play his guitar. Despite all the hardships she suffered during her life, including battling breast cancer and COPD, she truly enjoyed every moment and lived life to the fullest. She found peace and solace in her relationship with Jesus by talking to Him and reading her Bible every day, and she was able to rely on Him as her rock during hard times. Annette is survived by her parents Mary Lou and David Fountain, her sister Debbie Fountain, her brother Randy Fountain, her children Michelle (Cory) Johnston, Les (Stisha) Brown, Amy (Brandon) Klungness, and Rodney Grekoff, her grandchildren Ashly (Anthony) Turpin-Johnston, Kelly Schmidt-Johnston, and Brody, Braylee, and Bridger Brown, her great grandson Kaeden Duran, her best friend Joyce Girardin, Numerous nieces and nephews, and her friends. She is proceeded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Fountain, her Grandma and Grandpa Hensley and numerous aunts and uncles whom she loved dearly. Pallbearers will be Les Brown, Rodney Grekoff, Brandon Klungness, Cory Johnston, Chris Palmer, and Matt Walters. Annette was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She had the biggest heart and the kindest soul, and she will be missed by all. Until we meet again.
