Martin Offenberger

July 15, 1953 — September 13, 2015

Born, July 15, 1953 in Marietta Ohio to Agnes Elizabeth and Edward Joseph Offenberger. Martin moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1971 and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1972. He married Caline Goodro on July 15, 1980 in Wheatland, Wyoming and they later moved back to Casper where their daughter, Stacy Lynn was born on February 29, 1984. His wife, Caline went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2000, a decade later, on November 10, 2012, he married Joan Robertson. Martin worked for Wotco, Moving and Storage Connection, and finally Farnhams Furniture Gallery for the last 8 years of his employment. He was never late, and never missed a day's work except for holidays and vacation. To know Martin was to love him. He had a God given gift for loving people unconditionally. He was a shy, quiet man until he got to know a person. He always said he was just an old fashioned country boy. He adored John Wayne and the Denver Broncos. He respected himself and others and loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. He loved his family passionately and his four grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed being outdoors, in the mountains, fishing and hiking, and mud bogging in his truck, but he never missed being in the house of the Lord on Sunday. His mother and father and daughter, Sherrie Nicole precedes him in death. His Wife Joan and stepson Allan, his daughter Stacy Lynn, and son in law Michael, his grandchildren, Phoebe, Jasmine, Jordan and Izaiah, sisters Victoria, Rosemary and Rita, and brothers Phillip and Daniel, survive him. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Faith Bible Chapel 504 N. Forest Drive, Casper, WY, on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 3 o'clock pm. with dinner afterwards.
