Marsha Magnuson

Marsha K. Magnuson, age 63 died on November 16, 2018 in Casper, WY. She was born on October 16, 1955, in Casper, WY. to Eugene and Margret Hunt. Marsha left Wyoming to start her life's adventures and moved to California where she lived for about 30 years. There she started a family and gave birth to a business that she loved. After several years of owning her private practice of massage therapy she opened the first massage school in Bakersfield, Ca. She paved the way for the industry in Bakersfield. Many people were inspired by her passion and drive. Holistic health became the cornerstone of her life. She touched many lives; more than she ever knew. After growing her business she sold it to a former student and moved back home where she took care of her mother and grandchildren. She will be remembered. Left to honor Marsha's memory is her mother Margret I. Hunt; brothers; Larry Hunt and Steve Hunt; two daughters; Christina Galvan and Olivia Lopez; six grandchildren; Elena Galvan, Adrianna Galva, Cienna Mihalik, Maricilla Valenzuela, Santiago Valenzuela, and Bella Valenzuela, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marsha was preceded in death by her father Eugene S. Hunt; sister, Mary Ellen Donaldson, and nephew, Doug Donaldson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hilltop Baptist Church, 220 S Pennsylvania Ave Casper, Wyoming with Pastor Rob Peterson is officiating.
