Marlene R. Coryell, age 86, passed away August 17, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Highland Cemetery in Casper with Pastor Tim Adams officiating. Marlene was born August 8, 1931, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended schools in Omaha and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She was a civil engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation Wyoming. She spent her life taking care of others, including animals. She had several rescued dogs, cats and horses over the years. She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Phyllis) Coryell of Blair, Nebraska; friend, Wanda McLean of Casper; nieces Cathy (Kevin) Campbell of Blair, Nebraska; Marsha (Stuart Hardy of Palm Coast, Florida; Susan (Alex) Vaziri of Prescott, Arizona; and nephew, Robert (Tammy) Coryell of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, and their families. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Haydn and Irma (Schnetz) Coryell, and special friend, Carole Hardy, all of Casper, Wyoming. Memorial donations may be made in Marlene's name to the Casper Humane Society, 849 East E Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601.
