  Mark Robert Shughart December 29, 1977-July 4, 2023 (age 45)

    Mark Robert Shughart, 45, left his earthly bonds July 4, 2023, at home with his loving family.

    He was born to William and Deborah Shughart, on Grand Forks air force base, on December 29, 1977. He spent most of his school years in Casper, Wy. Graduating from Natrona County High School in 1996, before attending Casper College, where he received his associate degree in Theater and Kinesiology. He moved on from there, to earn his Bachelors in Education from Bowling Green State and a Master’s in business administration from the University of Toledo.

  He enjoyed his 4-year career as a Sales Consultant for the Library Division of the 3M corporation. Sadly, it was cut short when he was hit by a drunk driver in 2006, leaving him disabled. He also enjoyed photography, theater, music, video games, time with family and friends and travel. His travels, over the years, took him to Carnegie Hall, with the Casper Civic Chorale and to Bali Indonesia on a grant for music, theater, and dance, while he was attending BSU.

  Mark is survived by his parents William and Deborah, his older sister Shondell, younger brother Lane and his wife Jordan, and his nephew Weylyn. As well as an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bob and Gen Johnson and his paternal grandparents Robert and Ruth Shughart.

  Services will be held Thursday July 13, at 2pm at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home.

  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to your local animal shelter in his name.
