Mark Edward Phillips passed away November 28, 2010. He was born October 13, 1950 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Dan and Margaret Phillips. At an early age the family moved to Casper and he made it their lifelong home. He attended Casper schools and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1969. He started his carpet cleaning company, A-1 Steamway, in the early 70's and ran the company for 30 years. He made many life long friends through his business life. Mark had a great love for the outdoors and the best of times were spent with friends and family in the mountains and lakes around Wyoming. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and teaching his children and grandchildren how to enjoy the wonders of nature. He discovered gold mining later in life and became a lifetime member of the Lost Dutchman's Mining Association. Many lasting memories were made on those gold mining trips in Wyoming, South Dakota, Colorado and California with special people in his life and grandchildren. His other hobbies included photography and being any part of the local stage productions. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, LeNette and their three children, Trevor (Heather) Phillips of Casper, James Selby of Denver, CO, Troy (Amy) Phillips of Port Ludlow, WA, Senah (Matt) Selby-Larson of Casper, Trent (Jovon) Phillips of Casper and Nga (Lexi) Yann of Casper, three grandchildren, Kyler, Tori and Lacey Phillips, one brother, Ray (Eileen) Phillips.
