Mark Petersen

Mark Andrew Petersen was born in Casper, Wyoming on June 20, 1956 to George and Charlotte Petersen. He passed away peacefully on July 19, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. Mark attended Jefferson Elementary and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1974. He worked in the automotive industry for over 25 years in multiple facets. He enjoyed working on vehicles, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed making people laugh and feel welcome. In 1985, Mark married Sandra Lords and later divorced. They raised six children, Halley, Erik, Markae, Ruth, Anthony,and Vinny. He was preceded in death by Sandra and his parents. Mark is survived by his brother Paul, six children, six grandchildren, girlfriend Gina, and many close friends and extended family. He was a beloved father, Brother, Son, Grandfather, and Friend. He will be dearly missed. Services for Mark will be at 2:30 PM, on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Martin of Central Wyoming Hospice officiating. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice or The Angels Cancer Care Fund.
