Mark McCarty, 53, passed away on January 27, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. Mark was born on September 17, 1963 in Traverse City, Michigan. Mark enjoyed reading, mostly about history, statistics and sports. He really enjoyed sports and his favorite teams were the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. He enjoyed music from the 50's and 60's and his favorite artists were Elvis Presley, The Beatles and George Jones Mark is survived by his mother, Beverly McCarty of Casper, Wyoming; adoptive father, Larry McCarty of Mancelona, Michigan; father, Edward Krumlauf of Kalkaska, Michigan; two sisters, Malisa McCarty of Mancelona Michigan and Malinda Bulgrin and her husband Blake of Casper, Wyoming; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emmett and Berneda Burley of Mancelona, Michigan; paternal grandparents, Leathle and Marion McCarty of Clam Lake, Michigan; brother-in-law, Christopher McCorry of Mancelona, Michigan; uncle, Emmett Lee Burley of Mancelona, Michigan; and his cousin, Craig McCarty of Mancelona, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Bustard's Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mark will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming with Rev. Brian Oliver officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona, Michigan.
