Marjorie Jean (Harnish) Comin passed away November 12, 2016 in Casper, Wy, from complications related to Alzheimer's. Jean was born on December 23, 1928 to Roy Jacob and Lena (Pierce) Harnish in Cheyenne, Wyoming Jean attended school in Cheyenne and completed a year at the University of Wyoming. On December 21, 1947, she married William Edward Comin. Throughout their married life, Ed and Jean lived in Laramie, Cheyenne, Casper and Big Horn, Wyoming. They had seven children: Van (Wendy) Comin, Gayle (Don) Sundquist, Jo (Millard) Smathers, Tod (Kim) Comin, Emry (Wayne) Lewis, Jenny (Gary) Wigginton, and Mindy (Raymond) Sommer. Jean and Ed joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1958 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on April 19, 1962. Jean's focus and greatest joy in life was her family. Jean was a full-time wife and mother, nurturing her children and caring for her mother and Ed's parents for many years. She was quiet, unassuming, and selfless in her service to all who knew her. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sisters, and daughter Mindy Sommer. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, 6 children, 41 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
