On Jan. 27, 2015, Marilyn St. John passed away at home. She was born on Jan. 15, 1943 to Alvin and Marjorie Toombs in Elko, NV. Marilyn spent her childhood in NV before the family decided to settle in Lander, WY. Marilyn graduated from Lander Valley High School. On Sept. 5, 1962 she married Henry "Hank" St. John. In 1973 they moved to Casper, WY, where they lived until 1975 when they moved to Glenrock, WY. Marilyn enjoyed bowling. She spent several years as an officer for the Glenrock Bowling Association. She also enjoyed getting with friends and playing pinnocle. Marilyn was also a brownie troop leader as well as a homeroom mother. Her favorite hobbies included knitting and painting pictures with artex. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Glenrock) and Stacia (Glenrock), sister Debbie (Lander), sister Sherri (Chariton, IA), along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hank, her parents, brother Johnny and two sisters, Kerry and Pat. A service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lander.
