CASPER Marian Kay Prophet, 61, of Casper, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2014 at Central Wyoming Hospice surrounded by the love of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 14th, at First Church of the Nazarene, 2020 S. Jefferson with Rev. Tom Lance officiating. There will be a reception at the church following the memorial service. Cremation will have taken place by Bustards Funeral Home. Marian was born in Casper Wyoming to Oatis and Mertis Palmer on May 30, 1953. She married Adrian Prophet on February 12, 1993 in Casper Wyoming. She obtained her GED, from Casper College. She worked as a Bartender throughout her career, from The Bayou in Mills, The Fort Sill Officer's Club In Oklahoma, and. The retired servicemen's club in Lawton Oklahoma, to The Moonlight, and Frosty's. She served thousands of friends, and never, met a stranger. -Fromskydiving, to Sturgis rallies, she lived life to the fullest. She loved playing BINGO, slot machines and Texas hold em' in Las Vegas and Deadwood, along with competing at the national 'level as a bowler. Marian is preceded in death by her parents, Oatis and Mertis Palmer and her great niece, Laila Elizabeth Spethman. Marian is survived by her husband, Adrian Prophet; daughter, Kandace (Scott) Waner; son, Chris (Candita) Daniels; twin sister, Marie Spethman; brothers, Vere (Heidi) Palmer and Ames Palmer; her sister-in-law, Rose Palmer; grandchildren, Brady and Brock Wauer, Jory Moens, Christopher, Cecilea, Caitlyn, Colbie and Cierra Daniels; her special nieces and nephews, Julie and Steven Spethman, Lee, Kevin, Shane and Robert Palmer, Travis and Sasha Palmer, and Mike Hinkle and their families. Memorials may' be given to Rocky Mountain Oncology in her name. The family wants to send a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Oncology and Central Wyoming Hospice for their care and compassion.
