Marian Lutkins

Graveside services will be held for Marian Ophelia Lutkins, 85, on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 2 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Gary Hans officiating. Marian was born on January 27, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Lewis Mills and Jessie Carlson; she was one of 3 children. She passed away peacefully on July 1, 2010 after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Marian was raised in Ohio, Georgia, and Texas and then went on to attend Colorado College pursuing a degree in education. Soon after, she married Martin Lutkins on May 5, 1945. They started a family that would become her greatest treasure in life. She is survived by her son, Curtis Lutkins of Casper. Seven grandsons: Robert Shaw of Casper, Brian Lutkins, Eric Lutkins, Wiley, Arlen, Wilbur and Max Lutkins of Casper. One great grandson, Guthrie Shaw of Casper and one great granddaughter, Taylor Lutkins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Kirk, daughter, Rosemary and husband Martin.
