Maria Martinez

Maria Elena Martinez, age 79 passed away peacefully with her family by her side Thursday December 6, 2018. She was born August 4, 1939 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Juan and Apolonia Isias. Maria was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Circle at Saint Anthony's Church. She loved to be with her family and was known for her cooking. She is survived by her husband, Augustin Martinez, her five children, Robert Moreno, Bertha Holbrook, Norma Moreno Strother, Elizabeth Horton, and Becky Martinez all of Casper, WY; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; three siblings, her brother Jorge Isais of Casper, WY; her sisters Alicia Isais and Celia Fernandez of El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. with a rosary starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church at 6 p.m. Burial will follow Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in El Paso, TX.
