Marguerite McGehee Rodgers

Marguerite McGehee Rodgers, 96, of Casper, Wyoming, formerly from Griffin, Georgia and Broomfield, Colorado, passed away on April 10, 2024, in Casper Wyoming.

Marguerite was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Pauline Watson and George McGehee on September 13, 1927.    She graduated from Vasti Girls School in Thomaston, Georgia. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Auto Supply in Atlanta, Georgia for many years.   Marguerite left Auto Supply to help with the family business, painting small aircraft. She enjoyed gardening, cooking big family meals, taking care of her eight acres and her friends in Griffin, Georgia.

Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Gail (Roy) Elks, England, and Carolyn (Steve) Mitchell, Wyoming and her nephew Steve Spinks, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rodgers, Georgia, her sister, Myrtle Spinks, Georgia, her brother, Raymond Timbs, North Carolina, and her grand-daughter, Michelle Gunn, Florida.

Haisten McCullough Funeral Home will facilitate the grave side services and burial occurring at 1:00 PM at Westwood Gardens, Griffin Georgia June 5^th, 2024.
