Margery Boyer

September 14, 1925 — July 28, 2014

Funeral Mass for Margery A. Boyer, 88, will be celebrated at 11 am, Tuesday, August 12, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Father Bob Fox officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation for Margery will be from 5-7 on Monday, August 11, at Bustard's Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be prayed at 7. She died July 28, 2014, at Wyoming Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1925, in Kittanning, PA. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in business, and on October 1, 1949, Margery married the love of her life, Ted C. Boyer, in Tulsa, OK. They had two girls and moved from Oklahoma to New Mexico to Colorado before settling permanently in Casper, WY. Margery was involved in whatever her daughters were. She was an expert seamstress, cook and filled our home with love. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church for 48 years, and crocheted many shawls and lap blankets for the sick as a member of Fatima's Prayer Shawl group. her hobbies included bridge and card playing, crocheting, sewing, reading, gardening and spending time with her beloved husband and grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters; Cindy Halasz (Desi) and Celia Kirkwood (Robert), four grandchildren; Nick Sadler (Jen), JB Sadler (Savanna), Michael Kirkwood and Tom Kirkwood (Cassie), and two step-grandchildren, Paul Halasz and Jessie Frost (Matt). Margery was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren; (Quincy, Tessa, Wyatt and Cal). She was preceded in death by her brother and her husband, Ted. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or Seton House and may be left with Bustard's Funeral Home.
