Services for Margaret (Brock) Schanck will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Pierce, Imitate the Image Church, officiating. Margaret (Brock) Schanck, age 85, passed away April 12, 2013 at Wyoming Central Hospice after a lengthy illness. Margaret was born in Midwest, Wyoming on May 22, 1927. She was the daughter of Dorthea (Ross) Brock and Lyle Brock. Margaret graduated from NCHS with the class of 1945. On January 10, 1946, Margaret married Everett C. Schanck at his parent's home in Millville, New Jersey where they lived until 1950. Margaret returned to Casper, Wyoming where she took a job as a secretary with the Mortgage Loan Department of Casper National Bank, which later became the First Interstate Bank of Casper, until 1961. In 1962 she went to work for the CPA firm of Roab Rausch & Gayman, which eventually became known as McGladrey & Pullen. She retired in 1989. Margaret enjoyed bowling and one of Casper's Premier Womens Bowlers during her "hay day". Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Everett, two children, Karen Harden (Bill), Norman L. Schanck (Lynn), daughter-in-law JoAnn Schanck, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Dowreen Antheman, and brothers Jim and Phillip Brock. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Margie Elaine, and son, Everett (Butch) Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Central Wyoming Hospice.
