---------------------------------------- Margaret (Peggy) Johnson, 75, was born on May 29, 1936, in Montreal, Quebec Canada, and died in Casper on August 7, 2011, after a long illness with Lewy Bodies disease. Peggy spent her early years in several locales in Canada. She moved with her mother to southern California when she was eleven. She graduated from Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in Burbank, CA, in 1954 and soon after married her first husband. She graduated with honors from the College Of The Siskiyous in 1970. Peggy married Jay Johnson in 1971. Peggy and Jay moved to Casper in 2007. Over the years, she worked as home maker, bank teller, school teacher, bookkeeper, welfare eligibility worker, office manager and shop owner. She also volunteered as a docent at a zoo and two museums. She was an artist as a landscape painter in oils and later as a sculptor in clay. She was a published poet. She enjoyed the performing arts and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Jay, her four children, daughters Cathe of Tucson, Caron of Casper, LeeAnna of Henderson and son Ken of Amador County, CA, five grand children and one great grand child.
