Marco Amador

Marco Antonio Amador, 32, of Casper, Wyoming, was killed in a car accident Monday, January 16, 2017. Marco was born July 6, 1984 in San Fernando, CA, the first of four children born to Urbano and Silvia Amador. Marco was raised in Glenrock, WY and graduated high school in 2002. He then attended automotive classes at Casper College. Marco has been employed as a heavy equipment operator by Arch Coal at Black Thunder Mine for the past 11 years. On June 19, 2010, Marco married Daryl Meghan Allen of Medicine Bow, WY. Daryl was employed by the NCSD by that time and met Marco while singing karaoke at a local hangout. Marco and Daryl were blessed with two precious children, Carter Allen, 5, and Sydney Marie, 6 months. Marco was foremost a loving husband and devoted father. He spent many hours playing with his son, Carter, or bouncing his daughter, Sydney, on his knee. Marco was a dedicated aquarist, spending countless hours taking care of his salt water aquarium. He loved his motorcycle and his video games. He liked listening to music and working with his computer and photography. In the last few years, he has enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. Marco is survived by his wife, Daryl; his children, Carter and Sydney; his mother and father, Silvia and Urbano Amador of Glenrock; his brother, Liandro (Rachel) Amador and their children, Christian and Angelo; his sisters, Aira (Jeromy) Lehman, and Vanessa; his grandmother Angela Adame: his aunt and uncle Manuel and Alicia Amador; and his cousins, Samuel (Kim) Amador and their children Leighlia and Luka and Adrian Amador. Marco will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Bustard's Funeral Home. An inurnment for the family will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Denver Children's Hospital Epilepsy Unit would be appreciated.
