Graveside services for Lucretia (Lu) Lingle will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Glenrock Cemetery in Glenrock, Wyoming. Lu, 82, passed away January 14, 2014 at Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper. Lu was born November 3, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, where she also attended school. On June 18, 1949, she married Herman (Bud) Lingle in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Lu was a volunteer at the Glenrock Paleontological Museum in Glenrock. Prior to retiring, she worked for Converse County School District #2 for a number of years, including as an aid, bus dispatcher and receiving clerk. She also enjoyed working in the yard and tending to the flowers in her greenhouse. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Monger of Glenrock, grandson, Dean (Allison) Franck of Colorado, granddaughters, Becky (Jason) Blackburn of Lusk, Brandi Monger (Billie Addleman) of Cheyenne, and Lindsey Monger of Bochum, Germany. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman (Bud) Lingle and her daughter, Glennda Wilcox. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Glenrock Senior Center, Glenrock Paleontological Museum or Central Wyoming Hospice. Following the graveside services, please join the family for a reception at the Glenrock Senior Center.
