Louise Alice (Gordon) Wright was born April 27, 1925 to Lon and Bernie Gordon, in Marbleton, WY. She attended school in Big Piney and graduated in 1943. She was also a cheerleader for the Piney Punchers. Louise was well loved in her community, and known for her ability to teach anyone how to dance. She married L.G. Wright on January 28, 1956. They moved briefly to Oklahoma, and then returned to Casper where they remained and raised their daughter. They adored each other, and though L.G.'s job kept him on the road, their love never wavered. Louise had many interests such as crafting, canning, dancing, fishing, traveling, gardening, leading Brownie troops, and bowling. Even though she always remained active, her main focus was her family. She was an adventurer, and took vacations every year. In 1970 Louise, with the help of her sister Esther, took over the Tip Top Café in Casper. They employed several family members during her two-year ownership, and made a lot of friends. Louise's pride and joy was her family, and pets, both of which she showered with love and attention. Louise is survived by her daughter Jill Wright, grandchildren Cody Neubauer and Christopher Neubauer (Sarah), great grand-children Tristyn Bunton, and Hazel Neubauer, along with nieces and nephews too numerous to count. She is also survived by her cats Kiki and Nakita, and dog Doogey. She is preceded in death by her parents Lon and Bernie, ten siblings, and husband of 60 years L.G. Services will be held at 1:00pm, September 15, 2017 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Chapel. Reception following at the Evansville Community Center. Wear something colorful. .
