Louis ‘Louie' G. Siek, 91, of Casper, WY, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Wyoming Medical Center. Louie was born on August 18, 1921 in Cairo, NE to August and Celia Siek. He married Carmella DePaolo on April 25, 1942 in Harden, MT. He was a Veteran of WWII and served in Troop C of the 115th Cavalry. He owned and operated Louis Shoe Repair in downtown Casper along with his wife and son Michael for 45 years. In that time Louie earned great respect and love of the community and their feet. The friendship acquired throughout the years were long lived and treasured. He was also an upstanding active member of the Gideon's International and Calvary Baptist Church. Louie is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carmella Siek; his sister, Margaret Siek and his brothers, Donald, Hans, and John Siek. Louie is survived by his children, Diana (Marty) Feezer, Daniel (Linda) Siek, Nancy (Matt) Johnson and Michael Siek; his brother, Gary (Marcia) Siek; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be open from 11 am - 5 pm, Sunday August 18 and the funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 19th at Bustard's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to Bustard's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Gideon's International or Meals on Wheels.
