Louis Richard Reynolds, 88 years old, died December 9, 2015 in Casper WY. He was born August 21, 1927 in Kinner MN, to Orpha Potter Reynolds and Jess William Reynolds. At an early age he was orphaned and placed in Minnesota's state school in Owatonna, MN. Besides his own 3 brothers and 3 sisters he always claimed to have 32 additional brothers in the "State School". He was taken into the Krause home at age 16 in Medford MN. He then joined the army, and served with pride. At 21 he met and married Joan M. Cheseny. Together they had 6 children. He worked for 25 years for Chicago Northwestern railroad as a brakeman and engineer. Louis loved to camp and spent the majority of his time at the lake fishing with friends and family. He spent most of his retirement years traveling the US in his camper/motorhome visiting friends and family until he settled in Casper He was part of the VFW and in the Cooties organization. He is survived by his children, Ricki Walters of Austin, MN; Steve Reynolds and wife Brenda of Casper, WY; Liz Theiss of Casper, WY; Margaret Spanier and husband Greg of Paynesville MN; Bob Reynolds and wife Dawn of Casper WY; Mike Reynolds of Casper, WY; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Military services will be held December 17, 2015 at 1:00pm at Oregon Trail Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville WY. With Bruce Sell of Liberty Baptist officiating. Military Rites accorded by Wyoming Army National Guard and Natrona County United Veteran's Council. Bustard's Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
