Loisalayne "Alayne" Smith

Loisalayne “Alayne” Smith, age 93, of Casper, Wyoming passed away December 27, 2023 at Garden Square Assisted Living under the care of Central Wyoming Hospice.

She was the only child born to George and Berniece (Bins) Leisinger on February 12, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She graduated from Montreat in North Carolina College and went to Baylor University to become a School Teacher and went to Oklahoma Baptist University for graduate school. She briefly taught elementary school in Henderson, Nevada. She met Wayne on a blind date and got married shortly after. They were married 66 years.

She was a homemaker the majority of her life caring for her husband and their only child, Ken.

She is survived by her son, Ken, and his wife Carol Smith, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great- grandchildren.

She is predeceased in death by her husband, Wayne.
